Drama Club wishes AMKSS and all a Happy Family Day cum 30th Anniversary ^^


Below are the details for the Combined Clubs & Societies Camp. This is for the benefit of those few who haven't gotten the camp booklet. ALL members however, are to take particular note of the words highlighted in red.

Self-discipline should be conducted at ALL times throughout the camp. The do's and don't's are standard rules which all should know even without being told. Drama Club members shall therefore, conduct and present themselves in a proper manner both inside and outside school.

Pack List:
  1. 3 sets of clothes (include undergarments): 3 sets of clothes - school-based, and school pants/shorts. SYF members may choose to bring their Drama shirt.
  2. Sleep wear/sleeping bag
  3. track shoes
  4. sandal/slipper (for shower time)
  5. mug/cup with handle (for hot drinks)
  6. towel and toiletries
  7. 1.5 litre water bottle (compulsory)
  8. writing materials and notepad (compulsory)
  9. spare cash and torch (optional)
  10. personal medication (if needed)

Personal responsibility should be taken for any valuables that you bring along to the camp (Eg: handphones/MP3/iPod/cameras etc.) You are strongly advised not to bring them with you.

Daily Routine

  1. Students are to be housed in Blk D, girls on the 2nd floor and boys on the 1st
  2. Wake up at 0600 hrs
  3. Fall in at track for flag raising at 0615 hrs - includes national anthem/pledge/school song (don't ask me why)
  4. PT from 0630-0700 hrs. Variations of 5BX, runs outside the school, circuit training
  5. Breakfast and area cleaning from 0700-0800 hrs
  6. Activites start at 0800 hrs

Camp Schedule:

Day 1:

  • 1230-1330: report to camp at foyer in PE attire
  • 1330-1500: Ice-breaker games
  • 1500-1530: Tea break
  • 1530-1900: Amazing Race at Bishan Park (SYF members will not go for this event)
  • 1900-2030: Dinner, wash-up, preparation for Talent Time
  • 2030-2200: Talent Time
  • 2200-2330: Movie-screening, supper
  • 2345: Lights-out

Day 2:

  • 0630-0700: Morning exercise
  • 0700-0800: Breakfast
  • 0800-1130: Video editing training
  • 1130-1230: Lunch
  • 1230-1430: Video editing for Talent Time
  • 1430-1630: Tele-match
  • 1630-1700: Debrief and prize presentation
  • 1700-1730: Clean-up, Break camp

Hope that all will have a good time at the camp and do make use of this chance to know more of your seniors/juniors! For the SYF cast, we only have about 2 weeks left so please take rehearsal sessions seriously. In the meantime, have a great March holiday and see you all on Tuesday, cheers! =)
